She was predeceased by: her parents, John Leonard Fritts and Ida Wilt Fritts; her husband Dr. Joseph Oswald Cain; and her brothers, Harold Fritts of Charles Town, WV., Melvin Fritts of Charles Town, WV., Russell Fritts of Charles Town, WV. and Nelson Fritts of Charles Town, WV..

She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Clotzman (Mike) of Berryville, VA, Deborah Wine (Ed) of Greencastle, PA and Dr. Judith Cain-Oliver (Mike) of Powhatan, VA; her grandchildren, Joseph Clotzman (Diane), Jennifer Gormley (Christopher), Jessica Wright, Kathryn Davenport (Kelly), Elizabeth Paddrik (Mark) and Alex Oliver; her great grandchildren, McKenna Clotzman, Bella Clotzman, Christian Gormley, Jonathan Gormley, Aiden Gormley, Olivia Wright, Trenton Wright and Maria Paddrik; and her sister Ethel Fisher of Greencastle, PA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home (1050 W Main St, Berryville, VA 22611). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church (210 E Main St, Berryville, VA 22611).
