We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2018, at the age of 87, John Apperson (Berryville, Virginia), born in Lynchburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Sanford Heard. He is survived by: his parent Sarah Heard; his spouse Ann Heard; his children, John A. Heard, Jr. of Berryville, VA, Catherine Holland (Daniel), Sarah Heard of Richmond, VA and Alice Halvorsen (Kenneth) of Harrisonburg; his grandchildren, John Patrick Holland, Catherine Albino, Elizabeth Nordlie and Nicholas Halvorsen; and his great grandchild Peyton Ann Holland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, 110 N. Church St., Berryville, VA 22611.
