He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Oswald and Pauline Marie Cotter Cain; his wife Constance Goode Cain; his brothers, Dr. Joseph O. Cain and Paul Cain; his children, James Robert Cain Jr. (Sherry Cain) of Bolivar, WV, Lisa Cain Curran (Christopher Curran) of Berryville, VA and John Joseph Cain (Barbara Cain) of Berryville, VA; and his grandchildren, Jeannie Whetsell, Tony Henry, Samantha Carson, Terrance Curran, Sarah Cain and Connor Tavenner. He was also cherished by many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
