It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Earl Groves of Berryville, Virginia, born in Lowell, North Carolina, who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Earnest Groves, Sr. and Kathleen McGregor Groves. He is survived by: his sisters, Margaret Moody of Gastonia, NC and Brenda Howerter (Ronald) of Falls Church, VA; his nephew Tim; and his caregiver Janice Groves of Berryville, VA. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
