He is survived by: his parents, Bud Whitacre and Hilda Whitacre; his children, Harold Whitacre Jr (Robbie), Ernie Lewis of Winchester, VA, William Lewis of Winchester, VA, Stacey Edwards of Kings Mountain, NC and Caprice Dowell of Kings Mountain, NC; and his sisters, Elizabeth De of Romney, WV and Linda Springs of Romney, WV. He is also survived by grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
