She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Elliott and Nellie Elliott; her husband Pastor Craig Butler Burleson; and her siblings, Virginia Elliott Burleson and Robert Elliott.
She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Crim (Howard Crim, III) of Berryville, VA and Roy Swartz (Rebecca Swartz) of Selma, NC; her grandchildren, Rachael Kathleen McCarthy (Sean McCarthy) of Berryville, VA, Nicholas Swartz (Benjamin Craig) of Harrisonburg, VA and Christopher Swartz (Niki Takei) of Raleigh, NC; her great grandchildren, Ryan Adams of Berryville, VA, Sydney of Clayton, NC and McKenzie Swartz of Clayton, NC; and her siblings, Irene Shultz of Berryville, VA and Harry Elliott (Ruth Elliott) of New Market, VA. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
