He is survived by: his daughter Dayna Scaia (John) of Berryville, VA; his stepchildren, William Kenneth David of Lillington, Joseph Brown of Haymarket, VA and Megan Brown David of Vienna, VA; his grandchildren, Daniel Newberry, Maximus Scaia and Makenna Scaia; his great grandchild Juniper Caroline Scaia; and his sister Nancy P. Banasik of Wake Forest.
