She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Douglas Pitzer Robertson and Catherine Walthall Robertson; her husband John Apperson Heard, Sr.; her children, Catherine Holland (Edmund), John A. Heard, Jr. of Berryville, VA, Sarah Heard of Chesterfield, VA and Alice Halvorsen (Kenneth) of Harrisonburg, VA; her grandchildren, John Patrick Holland, Catherine Nordlie Albino (Felipe), Elizabeth Nordlie (Ethan) and Nicholas Halvorsen; her great grandchild Peyton Ann Holland; and her sister Catherine Robertson Carson.
