He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Shifflett and Goldie Lee Dove Shifflett; and his brother Willard Orne. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Armentrout; his children, Rebecca Marvick (Josh) of Mt. Sidney and Tommy Clifton (Leandra Kretzer) of Franklin, WV; his grandchildren, Abigail Marvick and Tyler Clifton; his brothers, William Shifflett and Tommy Orne; his nieces, Miranda and Morgan Miller; and his nephew Josh Shifflett.
