She was predeceased by: her parents, William Casper and Dottie Victoria Smith Dove; her husband Elmer D. Carr, Jr.; and her siblings, William Lester Dove, Jason Dove, Edward Dove and Ethel May.
She is survived by: her children, William Dewitt Carr (Brenda) of Criders, Delmas Carr (Madeline) of Bergton, Don Carr (Micki) of Bergton and Karen Dove (Fred) of Fulks Run; her granddaughter Deanna Ritchie (Pete); and her sisters, Nora Lantz, Alma Dove, Lelia Lewis and Thelma Lantz. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren.
