It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Ruby Ennis of Bergton, Virginia, born in Penns Grove, New Jersey, who passed away on September 24, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Loy Elmer, Sr.; her spouse Ashby J. Ennis, Sr.; her daughter Geraldine Hartman; her grandsons, Dana Hartman and Paul Hartman, Jr.; and her siblings, Ronald Hottinger, Alfred Hottinger, Loy Elmer Hottinger, Jr., George Hottinger, Velma Lantz, Faye "Norma" Hottinger, Loraine Fitzsimmons and Edith Hottinger.
She is survived by: her sons, Ashby "Jim" Ennis, Jr. (Etsuko) of Honolulu, HI, Lynn Ennis (Nancy) of Criders and Doug Ennis (Tammy) of Timberville; her grandchildren, Kevin Hartman of Bergton, Tanga Lamma (Greg), Alisa Dooley (Chris), Lora Ennis and Andrea; her great grandchildren, Phillip Lamma, Jessica Armentrout (Jacob), Olivia Dooley, Emma Dooley and Alexa Dooley; and her siblings, Richard Hottinger of Phoenix City, AL, Robert Hottinger (Beatrice) of Bergton and Gay Kirby (Clarence) of Franklin, KY. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
