He was predeceased by: his brother Nathaniel McGregor Ewell. He is survived by: his sister Mary Louise Camper Ewell; his wife Josephine Ewell (Jo); his children, John F. Ewell, Jr. (Sharon), Douglas W. Ewell (Terry) and Ellen Ewell Innes (Jeff); his grandchild Lauren Ewell Nelson (Matt); his great grandchild Landon (Douglas); and his sisters, Jane Ewell Metz, Jessie Jerdone Ewell Mendez, Louise Camper Ewell Pugh and Helen Ewell McGehee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Episcopal Church, the Humane Society of Warren County, or a charity of your choice.
