James Karl Kohn Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Karl Kohn of Bentonville, Virginia, born in Valley City, North Dakota, who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his stepfather Frederick Zaun; his father Gerhard Kohn; his siblings, Tommy Kohn, Nora Dabbundo and Jan Williams; his mother Angie Zaun; and his sister Barbara Gann.
He is survived by: his close friend Betsy Lordan; his children, Erick (Maria) of Stephens City and Sarah (John) of Front Royal; his siblings, Lisa Burr (Eric), Sue Erdmann (Jerry) of McIntosh, MN, Chuck Zaun of Front Royal and Les Zaun (Kathy) of Valley City, ND; and his grandchildren, Jordyn Arfield, Jake Kohn and Oliver Kohn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the North Warren Volunteer Fire (266 Rockland Ct, Front Royal, VA 22630).
