She was predeceased by: her parents, William Woodbury Burroughs and Mabel Elizabeth Wilson Burroughs; her husband S. Franklin Barber; her son J. Talley Brown Jr.; and her siblings, John Donald Burroughs, Winston W. Burroughs and Margaret Chenault.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanne Cave (J. D.) of Stanley, VA and Ann Cheseldine of Palm Coast, FL; her stepdaughters, Sharon Barber Smith of Cambridge, MD, Kathleen Barber Weaver (Michael) of Hedgesville, WV and Judith Barber Tanner (Earl Sunderland) of Mapleton Depot, PA; her daughter-in-law Karla Brown of Newark, DE.; and her sister-in-law Rose Burroughs of Hollywood, MD. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
