He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alton P. Mauck, Sr. and Daisy F. Williamson Mauck; his wife Lelia Athey Mauck; his sons, Dwayne A. Mauck (Lisa) of Front Royal and Dale E. Mauck (Jill) of Fort Worth, Texas; his grandchildren, Derrick A. Mauck (Cassie), Lauren Leeper (Michael) and Nicole Mauck; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Mauck and Mackayla Mauck; and his sister Gayliss Flint (Orrie) of Oklahoma City. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
