He was predeceased by: his father Edward "Bud" Spencer. He is survived by: his mother Jean C. Alt; his wife Melissa "Missy" Diane Shumaker; his stepfather Pete Alt of Warrenton; his grandmother Dorothy Childress of Warrenton; his children, Samantha Spencer Saffelle (Drew) of Winchester, Kirsten Rae Spencer of Bentonville, Taylor Nicole Spencer of Bentonville and Brian Michael Spencer of Bentonville; his grandchildren, Camden, Maren, Logan, Kynslee and Emmalee; and his siblings, Michelle Allison (Bill) of Bristow, Edward "Buster" Spencer (Debbie) of Strasburg and Christopher "Bubba" Spencer (Tiffany) of Remington. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
