It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sonja Stump of Bent Mountain, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 63, on February 17, 2025. She was predeceased by: her father Howard Stump; and her grandparents, Rev. Cleophas, Junie Stump, Tillman and Lelia Dalton.
She is survived by: her mother Rachel Dalton Stump; her brother Mark Stump (Karen); her nieces, Mariah Roberson (Drew) and Danielle Sink (Matt); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Trae, Titan Roberson, Tinsley and Teddie Roberson. She is also survived by aunts, uncle and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakey's South Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Union Church of the Brethren (9420 Bent Mountain Rd, Bent Mountain, VA 24059).
