It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gladys Walters of Bent Mountain, Virginia, born in Copper Hill, Virginia, who passed away on September 5, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Walters; her son Kenneth Walters; and her parents, Jack Smith and Beulah Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Donald Walters (Susan) and William Walters (Robin); her grandchildren, Wynne Phillips (Lenny), Kia Walters, Brier Walters, Jennifer Lawhorn, Jared Walters (Lauren), Jacob Walters (Hannah), Randy Walters (Ashley) and Kelli Dillon; and her siblings, Helen "Tommy" Robertson, Charles Smith (Gracie), Brenda Reynolds and Steve Smith. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
