She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Cochran and Alma Cochran; her husband William McKinley Likens, Jr.; her son William McKinley "Kenny" Likens III; her son-in-law James Marvin Handy; and her brothers, Robert Cochran and Bill Cochran.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane L. Handy and Cheryl Likens; and her siblings, Jenny Lawrence and James Cochran. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and their spouses, Linda and Matt Sayers, Dusty and Amanda Handy, Kevin and Angela Likens, Wesley Handy, Corey Likens, and Stephen and Sherri Handy; 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Mountain Mission School, 1760 Edgewater Drive, Grundy, VA 24614.
