He is survived by: his children, Brenda Reid Ross of Painter, VA, Carolyn Sneed of Dover, DE, Perry Giddens of Millsboro, DE, Thomas Edwards of Long Island, NY, Larry Edwards of Hare Valley, VA and Lawrence Sample of Hare Valley, VA; his son-in-law Steve Cropper of Painter, VA; his siblings, Bessie Reid of Painter, VA, Eva Daniels of Painter, VA, Dorothy Daniels of Painter, VA and Coley Daniels of Painter, VA; and his close friend Thomas "Buck" Bailey. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren.
