Mae King Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Purnell Hack and Etta Hack; her former husband Samuel Elroy King, Sr.; her siblings, Edward, Dorsey, Purnell, Jr., Magalene Baines, Mary Lee Martin, Lena V. Cooper and Elizabeth James; and her daughter Georgia E. E. King.

She is survived by: her close friends, Dot Joynes, Mae Ayres, Sarah Lee Watson, Gladys James, Effie Harmon, Lucinda Riley and Christine Williams; her children, Alice Mae Ashby of Baltimore, MD, Sharon Skinner (William) of Painter, VA, Samuel E. King, Jr. of Belle Haven, VA, Faye Scott (Samuel) of Dover, DE, Vernon King of Dover, DE, Alexander King of Belle Haven, VA, James King of Accomac, VA and Connie King of Onancock, VA; her sister-in-law Cleve Kellam; her godson Chester Kellam; and her daughters, Karen Barrette of Painter, VA and Inetha Boone-Rogers of Suffolk, VA. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; three great, great-grandchildren.
