He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Bostic and Stella Ann Shortridge Bostic; his brother Gene Robert Bostic; and his grandchildren, Kaley Runyon and Christian Runyon.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Childress Bostic; his children, Misty Presley (Toby) and Hurshel Bostic (Lisa); his grandson Bradyn Bostic; and his siblings, Mary Barton (Raymond) and Hadley Bostic (Kathy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
