She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Maximillian Whalen and Carolyn Gendron Whalen; and her brothers, Gregory Whalen and Timothy Whalen. She is survived by: her children, Leslie Nichols and Tyler Bannister; her siblings, Ernie Whalen (Carolyn), Ted Whalen (Sara), Shona Witt (Dennis), Peter Whalen (Irene) and Jason Whalen (Jennifer); and her significant other Paul Allen Weese, Jr.. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mount Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery (3931 Otterville Rd, Bedford, VA 24523).
