With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilmer Ray Dinwiddie (Bedford, Virginia), who passed away on August 27, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Booker Wallace Dinwiddie, Sr. and Margaret Johnson Dinwiddie; and his sisters, Phyllis and Helen. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his brothers, Bobby (Sue) and Neil (Mavis); his niece Donna Tillman (Ray); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Shannon, Michael and Shelley. He is also survived by several other nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews.

In lieu of food and flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National D-Day Memorial, P. O. Box 77, Bedford, VA 24523 or Centra Bedford Hospice House, P. O. Box 985, Bedford, VA 24523.
