He is survived by: his wife Helen Joan Heritage Kernan; his daughter Cheryl L. Fowler (Bradley A. Fowler) of Bedford; his granddaughters, Hannah C. Hester (Jeremiah) of Bedford, Emilie N. Fowler (Timothy Andrews) of Harrisonburg and Rachel E. Fowler of Bedford; and his siblings, George O. Kernan Jr. of Vineland, NJ and Beverly Norbeth of New Jersey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
