He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Cocke and Sally Lillian Wilson Cocke; and his siblings, Eugene Cocke, Raymond Cocke, Odell Cocke, Marshall Cocke, Malcolm Cocke, Esley Cocke and Gladys Cocke Mayberry.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Maxey Cocke; and his son Troy Naaman Cocke of Bedford.
