He was predeceased by: his parents, Darlby Arthur and Virgie Comer Arthur; and his siblings, Kenneth Arthur and Fay Witt. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Litchford Arthur; his sons, Gary Arthur (Kirsten) and Barry Arthur (Vicky); his grandchildren, Jordon Arthur (Heather), Grayson Arthur, Hannah Carpenter (Caleb) and Leah Arthur; his brother Ray Arthur (Emma); and his sisters-in-law, Ann Zimmerman and Betty Arthur.
