She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Blinstrub and Mary Blinstrub (Timledge); her husband David L. McMurtrie; her son Mark McMurtrie; and her sister Irene Snell.

She is survived by: her children, Curtis McMurtrie of Bedford, Julia McMurtrie of Bedford and Elizabeth McMurtrie; her son-in-law John Lawson of Arlington, VA.; her siblings, Lorraine Snell of Brookline and Richard Blinstrub of Encino, CA; and her grandchildren, Anthony and Charlotte Lawson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
