He was predeceased by: his father Norris Blaine St. Clair; his sister Tammy Lynn Chapman; his stepfather Ronnie Carter; and his grandparents, Harry, Veatrice St. Clair, W. E. "Bill" Ferris and Betty S. Meador.
He is survived by: his mother Rickie Lynn Ferris Carter; his stepbrothers, Shannon Carter and Jonathan Carter; his brother-in-law Robert Chapman, Sr.; his grandmother Ruth Ferris; his stepgrandfather Maynard Meador; his nephew Robert Wayne Chapman, Jr. (Robbie); his uncles, Alan Ferris (Shirl), Butch Ferris (Peggy) and Jeffrey Ferris; and his aunt Regina Agee (Greg). He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
