Yates; his wife Ann Arlen Anderson of Bedford; his friend Charlene Finley Gill; his brother Robert (Linda) of Chanute, KS; his children, Meredith (Don) of Charlotte, Robert of Roanoke and Maria (Stuart) of Baltimore; and his stepchildren, Edna Lee, Ron and Carolyn. He was also cherished by spouses, children, and grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
