It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stacey Jean Mitchell of Bedford, Virginia, born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on May 19, 2021, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her half-brother Matt Morris; and her grandfathers, Mack Richardson and Gene Richardson. She is survived by: her parents, Randy Wayne Mitchell and Angela Richardson Mitchell; her half-sisters, Randi Bateman (Jay) of Martinsville and Whitney Buckley (Daniel) of Ladson, SC; and her grandmothers, Betty Richardson of Bedford, Nina Richardson of Appomattox and Carolyn Richardson of Pamplin. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Box 497, Moneta, VA 24121 or Bedford Fire & Rescue, 1185 Turning Point Road, Bedford, VA 24523 A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Morgans Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Randy Krantz officiating.
