She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald L. Russell; her parents, Richard N. Ames and Kathryn S. Ames; her son Donald Russell; and her sister Judith Ames Staker.
She is survived by: her son Dennis Russell (Diana) of Knoxville, Tennessee.; her daughter-in-law Tammy Cook Russell of Bedford, VA; her grandchildren, Andrew, Amanda, Sydney, Heather, Jessica and Stephanie; and her great grandchildren, Alice and Andrew.
