He is survived by: his wife Christy Boone; his stepchildren, Sarah Walker (Derek Greer) and Michael Walker; his brother Wayne Boone (Carol); his nephew Aaron Boone (Shannon); his niece Jennifer Nichols (Brian); his stepgrandsons, Alasdair Walker and Malcolm Walker; his great-nephew Patrick Nichols; and his great-nieces, Abigail Nichols, Grace Boone and Reese Boone.

The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider the Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
