It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee McKinney of Bedford, Virginia, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward McKinney and Nannie Mae Dooley McKinney; his wife Judy Overstreet McKinney; his daughter-in-law Tammy McKinney; his grandson Matthew Beach; and his siblings, Willie McKinney and Dorothy M. Overstreet.
He is survived by: his children, Robert McKinney, Jr., Carol McKinney Farish (Dan), Teresa McKinney Beach (Doug), Donna McKinney Saunders and Rhonda McKinney; and his sister Helen M. Cottrell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
