“I had the pleasure of knowing Andy for many years, and viewed him from a distance as a mentor and example to me, someone to try to strive to be like. Andy was a friend to anyone, had integrity, and I have never seen him without a positive spirit. I remember specifically the day he took me to the range. There were gnats flying all around us we were sweating like crazy and we still had a blast dropping plates. That day was the first day I ever was able to shoot a competition pistol, he had his STI Edge and also a Smith and Wesson wheelgun. It was one of the funnest days at the range I have ever had. We both shot GREAT and left there with big grins on our faces. Andy will be missed by us he has left behind but I have no doubt that he is living now in a renewed body, at home with our Lord. I will always cherish every interaction I had with Andy Krantz, a good man.”
