It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Garst Lee of Bedford, Virginia, born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on April 18, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Garst and Virginia Hylton; her husband Raymond Buford Lee; her son Robin Lee; and her brother Gary Hylton.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Lee (Rumiani), Maurice Lee (Sherry) and Annette Patterson; her grandchildren, Dana, Allison, Mey, Miranda, Alexandria, Marshall, Samantha and Ridwan; her great grandchildren, Reagan, Irvink, Austin, Kinlee, Raymond, Randall and Novalee; and her sisters, Joyce Hylton and Trudy McDaniel. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and so many friends.
