He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Akers and Aileen Akers. He is survived by: his wife Lora; his son Willie Ray Akers; and his brother Eddie Akers (Linda Akers). He is also survived by grandchildren, sisters, other relatives, coworkers, and friends.
