He was predeceased by: his parent Harry Mayhew; and his brother Bobby Mayhew. He is survived by: his parent Thelma Overstreet Mayhew; his wife Zell Draper Mayhew; his children, Ricky Mayhew of Bedford and Tina Mayhew of Bedford; his grandchild Logan Dawson of Jaeydin Dawson; and his siblings, Leonard Mayhew of Bedford, Vernell Dillon of Bedford and Alice Meador of Moneta.
