With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray M. Turpin (Bedford, Virginia), who passed away on June 20, 2018 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta Keen Turpin; his brother Kenneth Turpin; his siblings-in-law, Cleo Turpin and Clifton; and also Buster.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Turpin of Bedford and Ray Turpin, Jr.; his wife Barbara of Bedford; his sisters, Jeanette Jones of Lynchburg, Evlyne Ortiz (Jimmy) of Charleston, SC and Shirley Holbrook; and also, Thomas Turpin (Frances) of Stokesdale, NC and Dennis Turpin (Kim) of Blue Ridge. He is also survived by five sister-in-laws; three brother-in-laws, and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
