He is survived by: his mother Lena Holland; his son Joseph Hardy; his close friend Jerri Hardy; and his siblings, Joyce Underwood, Lois Carr, Lilly Craighead (James), Earline Altice (Eldrige), Danny Hardy (Mary) and Ricky Hardy (Leona). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many friends.
