She was predeceased by: her parents, Reed W. "Billy" Owen and Jane Pugh Owen; her brother Clarence E. "Little Billy" Owen; her granddaughter Bethany Fowler; and her former husband Sherril R. "Buddy" Overstreet.
She is survived by: her sister Bonnie O. Armes (Benny); her daughters, Reneﹶ O. Nichols (Raymond), Dana J. Overstreet (Farley Martin) and Tracy O. Gibson (Glenn); and her grandchildren, Justin Nichols, Lindsey Nichols, Kenny Fowler, Matt Fowler, Erin Roberts, Kyle Gibson and Ashlyn Gibson. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home (320 N Bridge St, Bedford, VA 24523).
