We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2021, at the age of 87, Peggy Updike Zimmerman (Bedford, Virginia) passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Carlton Updike and Frances Lorraine Leftwich Updike; and her husband Jennings Bryan Zimmerman. She is survived by: her daughter Katrina O. Nester (Jerry); her grandchildren, Jill N. Hayes (Lt), Kemper Hayes and Hudson Hayes; and her stepchildren, Michael B. Zimmerman (Kathy), Donald N. Zimmerman (Karen) and Lisa Z. Conner (Anthony). She is also survived by seven step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.
