He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Maria Level and Osvaldo Gonzalez; his wife Eileen O'Neill; his brother Osvaldo Gonzalez; and also Jack.
He is survived by: his son Thomas Gonzalez (Pat) of Vankleek Hill, Ontario; his grandsons, Carl and Tim Gonzalez of Quebec; his stepsons, James McGovern (Judy) of Bedford, Kevin McGovern (Trish) and John McGovern (Kathleen); his stepgrandsons, David McGovern of New Jersey and Daniel McGovern of New Jersey; his cousin Mary Schmitt of White Plains; his nieces, Kathleen Dickinson of Henderson, NV and Patti Dickinson of Tinton Falls, NJ; and his nephew Gerard Clancy (Gale). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
