He is survived by: his child Pakee; his siblings, Barbara Powell and Harold Laughon (Sandra); his children, Jason Laughon (Heather), Lisa Campbell (Jason) and Chad Laughon (Amy); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Campbell, Nathaniel Laughon, Alanna Campbell, Owen Laughon, Anna Laughon, Kaleigh Laughon, Emma Laughon and Isaac Laughon; and his nieces and nephews, Todd Ferrell, Tara Ferell, Tiffany Ferrell, Torrey Ferrell, Shannon Laughon and Jeremy Laughon.

“Gilbert and I were childhood friends. My parents were close friends with Ollie and family. We often traveled to their farm in the country. I remember bringing firecrackers. Gilbert and I would spend hours blowing things up. The thought of those days came to mind, often, as we parted ways and the passing of his father. He was a good hardworking kid and I'm sure, a great man. It is with sadness I found him on this obituary. My condolences to his family! Ray Argabright”
