She was predeceased by: her parents, John Davis and Collie Parker Ruff; her husband William "Billy" Edward Powers; and her daughter-in-law Jean Powers (Earl Pendleton). She is survived by: her sons, Johnny Powers (Barbara) and Larry Powers (Janet); her grandchildren, Lee Ann Showers (Phil), Brian Powers and Charlotte Powers; and her great grandchildren, Natalee Powers and Jack Powers.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bedford Christian Church (1928 Moneta Rd, Bedford, VA 24523). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Bedford Christian Church or the National D-Day Memorial.
