We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2024, at the age of 86, Nancy Claire Rice Mayhew of Bedford, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy E. Rice and Iris Grubbs Rice; and her husband Samuel Orie Mayhew. She is survived by: her sister Ann Journell; her nieces, Terry Deacon (Greg), Joan Tyree (James) and Diane Armstrong (Bill); her nephew Kenneth Rice, Jr.; and her cousin Janet Powers. She is also survived by numerous great nieces & nephews, cousins and special friends.
