He was predeceased by: his father John McCavanaugh; and his sister Jane. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Bandy McCavanaugh; his children, Michelle Armes, John Simms (Megan) and David Armes (Ellery); his grandchildren, Parker, Norah, Lilly, Kayley and Luke; his brother Harry; and his pet Bruno. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
