She was predeceased by: her parents, Kiah Steptoe and Lillian Butler Steptoe; and her siblings, Calvin Steptoe, Elizabeth Ann Steptoe Moon and Peggy Steptoe.
She is survived by: her daughter April Steptoe (Michael Anthony Barlow); her grandchildren, Nazariah Ma'Kayla Barlow and Riverr Hendrixx Barlow; her brother Calvin Trent Blake; her niece Tiffany Michelle Steptoe; her nephew Drew Edwards Steptoe; her close friend Cleo "Tootie" Shirkey; her godchildren, Alisha Crouch (Matthew), Larry Dooley Jr. and James Edward Sines IV; and her close friend Paul Lewis.
