It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynda Pierson Martin of Bedford, Virginia, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Charles Benjamin Reed Jr.; her husband John Jefferson Martin; her son Robert Miller Jr. (Bobby); and her great grandchild Sophia Long. She is survived by: her mother Glenna Lafon Reed; her daughters, Mary Katherine Swedberg of Bedford and Stephanie Miller Moir (Barry) of Bedford; her brothers, Charles B. Reed III (Peggy) and Jerry A. Reed; and her grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Jones (Robert), Amber Leigh Dudding, Holli Moir Stewart (Joshua), Heidi Elizabeth Moir and David Matthew Dudding.
