He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Andrew Torrence and Eunice Hendricks Torrence; and his son-in-law James Brooks. He is survived by: his daughters, Shelby Organ (Ed) and Vicki Brooks; his grandchildren, Kevin Organ, Keith Organ, Lynn Dorris (Phil) and Bryan Brooks (Niky); his sisters, Mary Jane Wilmouth and Joyce Ernest; his nieces, Linda St. Clair (Rick) and Ginger Martin (Bob); and his nephew Danny Torrence (Cindy). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Bedford Hospice House, 1621 Whitfield Dr., Bedford, Virginia 24523.
